The spacecraft operator tool is an example application used to communicate with Zendir Studio, and more specifically, the space range capability within the application. This tool enables users to communicate with their spacecraft with a provided frequency and encryption key. The tool is broken down into multiple control panels, each providing a unique way for communicating with the spacecraft. The tool is free to use and can be found at https://operator.zendir.io.

There are some repeated widgets across the control view. These widgets will perform the exact same function regardless which view they are found in.
Widgets
The space range operator has a number of widgets for connecting to the spacecraft. They are:
- Connection Settings: A widget for starting a connection with a spacecraft over the ground station network via MQTT, found in the Connecting to a Server page.
- Guidance ADCS: A widget for controlling the guidance modes of the spacecraft and performing attitude pointing, found in the Controlling the Spacecraft page.
- Data Downlink: A widget for downlinking data from the spacecraft via the ground station network, found in the Controlling the Spacecraft page. This widget is shown in multiple control views but does the same task.
- Command History: A widget for displaying the history of commands that have been executed on the spacecraft, found in the Controlling the Spacecraft page.
- Camera Capture: A widget for capturing imagery from the on-board cameras and changing the capture settings, found in the Capturing Images page.
- Downlinked Images: A widget for displaying the different images that have been downlinked, via the camera capture found in the Capturing Images page.
- Message Viewer: A widget for viewing encrypted and decrypted messages from the spacecraft communication and attempting to decode messages, found in the Viewing Messages page.
- Data Plotter: A widget for plotting the decrypted data from messages in suitable numeric graphs over time, as found in the Plotting Data page.
- Statistics: A widget for displaying the plot statistics tied to a particular property downloaded from the data, as found in the Plotting Data page.
- Spacecraft Location: A widget for displaying the current location of the controlled spacecraft and ground station network, as found in the Mapping the Spacecraft page.
- Map Controls: A widget for controlling the data on the spacecraft map and viewing the playback, as found in the Mapping the Spacecraft page.
- Encryption Settings: A widget for changing the encryption settings of the spacecraft including the frequency and key to a new value, as found in the Admin Operator Controls page.
- Reset Component: A widget for resetting a component that has been detected to have a fault, as found in the Admin Operator Controls page.
