This intermediate path begins with a complete mission built through Studio’s normal Inventory, Outliner, Properties, and simulation tools. It then adds the hardware, ground network, team assignment, and exercise content required by Space Range.
This is not the Construct Scenario workflow. The objective is to preserve and convert spacecraft and stations already placed in the Studio project.
What you will do
- Build and test an ordinary Studio mission
- Audit the mission against Space Range requirements
- Add missing communications hardware and the ground network
- Create teams and assign placed spacecraft through Properties
- Add a brief, questions, and Space Range events
- Test, export, and hand off the converted project
Who should use this path
Use it when:
- the mission already exists as a normal Studio project
- spacecraft were built visually from the Inventory
- component placement and custom meshes matter
- you want to preserve the existing Studio event and panel setup
Use the beginner path when you want Space Range to define and construct the complete world. Use the advanced path when JSON is the source of truth.
The two phases
Ordinary Studio mission
↓ readiness audit
Space Range team assignment and exercise layer
↓ save and test
Facilitator-ready .zenWARNING
Do not select Construct Scenario while following this path. Construction clears Space Range-managed spacecraft and stations, then rebuilds from the definitions in the Space Range window.
